My first thought was that it was all a bunch of “once upon a time” stuff, where I’d have to talk about some earthshattering moment in my life when everything changed, and I didn’t really have that.
My second thought, once I learned that story can take so many forms (origins, purpose, good deeds, partnerships, history, client stories…and dozens more) was that I had no idea how to identify them and gather them. It was a long and frustrating process to figure this out.
